Celebrating Icelandic Electronica
RAFWAVES is an annual music festival, spanning 5 days in a location at the very center of Reykjavik. It is showcasing the cream of the Icelandic electronic music scene with a dash of new talents and spiced with flavors from abroad. This year's event is expected to be the biggest event so far and this year it is showcasing electronic music with nearly 50 artists, representing various labels and clubnights.

Skurken, HaZar, BistroBoy, Steve Sampling, Subminimal, Murya. Möller Records was started in 2011 by electronic musicians Jóhann Ómarsson (aka Skurken) and Árni Grétar (aka Futuregrapher). Since it´s foundation Möller Records has released over 12 albums with many notable and influential Icelandic electronic artists.

Thule Records is one of Iceland´s leading record labels releasing music by many of Iceland´s best known electronic musicians, most active between 1995 to 2004. Electronic Nights
Electronic Nights are nights that started off in a venue on Laugavegur 22, called Barbara. Every wednesday night they served up fresh electronica from local artists. Mixing up the genres and styles and artist ranging from the newest kids on the block back to the early groovers. Electronic Nights later moved on to Iðusalir and kept the ball rolling and up to date has hosted almost every electronic act there is to find in Iceland. These nights are a collaboration of Isar Logi Arnarsson (TechSoul) and Ari S. Arnarsson(Plasmic).

Elements | Showcase
Elements has been hosting club music events and radio shows through the years and represents group of Icelandic artists and DJs. They host their own radio show and promote club nights on a large scale. Ghozt, AJ Caputo, Exos and Mike The Jacket represent the best in super-club style parties.

Drum&Bass Extravaganza
Subminimal & Plasmic will showcase the Icelandic D&B scene at its best. The first Drum&Bass Extravaganza was held in Iðusalir and was a storming success. People crave the raw energy and break from the 4/4 beats. If you ever danced in a packed crowd to insane drum&bass... you know the score.

Weirdcore | Showcase
ThizOne, Tanya/Marlon, Quadruplos and Solid Sound (Elín Ey + f.o.s) will perform at this years Weirdcore showcase and will be playing on behalf of the legendary Weirdcore nights. The nights were started by our beloved Sigurbjörn Þorgrímsson (Biogen) and Tanya Pollock.
